Values

In all our activities, we strive to act responsibly and in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. In the operation, attention is paid not only to environmental responsibility but also to social and economic sustainability.
Ecological sustainability and respect for nature
To reduce waste, washable sheets are used in our massage room instead of disposable paper covers. Biodegradable detergents are used in the cleaning and laundry maintenance of the premises. We use natural plant-based oils, in which, with the exception of aroma massage oils, no perfumes have been added.
We operate in nature according to the principles of litter-free and sustainable camping. In our operations, we want to ensure the preservation of nature and its diversity, e.g. by camping only in permitted places, making fires only judiciously and collecting trash - our own and others' - with us.
We try to minimize the amount of waste and the generated waste is sorted and recycled appropriately. Also on our tours, we respect everyone's rights and local rules and movement restrictions. We encourage those coming to our events to prefer shared rides whenever possible.
Financial sustainability
In our operations, we pay the taxes and fees necessary for the operation, e.g. on the use of nature areas by Metsähallitus and municipalities.
In nature and dining services, we prefer local products and operators as far as possible to supplement our own expertise. The food offered on retreats and excursions is vegetable-based, and preferably near produced.
We use responsible partners who share the same values.
Social and cultural sustainability
We are all equal, and we welcoma all clients regardless of age, gender or background. However, some nature services require an age of 18. We also serve in English.
We respect Finnish cultural heritage and strive to pass it on, e.g. in the form of local stories and craft tradition.
Safety
We make risk analyzes and safety plans for every event. In the safety plan, we take into account possible risks and dangers, and we go through operating instructions for different situations. If necessary, we collect advance information from our customers about possible illnesses or injuries, so that we know how to prepare for the risks they bring and how to prevent them.
We regularly update our own expertise through first aid and other safety training in the field. The instructor has a valid travel industry safety pass, hygiene pass and first aid skills equivalent to EA1 level
